Dr. Burt Greenberg's patients have their cosmetic plastic surgery at his new beautiful, state of the art, 6,000 square foot facility, where every measure has been taken to ensure their comfort and safety. The surgical suite and recovery room are equipped to hospital standards and certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF). General anesthesia is administered by board certified anesthesiologists who are affiliated with St. John's Hospital and North Shore University Hospital. During your initial consultation, Dr. Burt Greenberg will discuss medical conditions that cause problems during or after procedures, such as: high blood pressure, diabetes, blood clotting problems, a tendency to form excessive scars, and a history of smoking. Ingestion of any drugs or medications that affect clotting, especially aspirin, is also discussed at that time. By using a comprehensive, computer assisted presentation showing many cosmetic, facial rejuvenation patients, Dr. Burt Greenberg will thoroughly explain surgical techniques for you.
